Services /  Parent Support

Based upon the needs expressed by our families and those who refer them, we offer support for parents of children and teens with special needs and complex challenges. Parenting takes a village and we are happy to become part of your tribe. No parent should have to learn in the moment of stress or need how to get help for their child. Many of our staff are parents and or caregivers of someone with complex needs so know some stuff, we know contacts and we are here to support parents through the process to lessen the turnaround time to get additional services you may be seeking.

Our support specialists provide parents with the tools they need to enhance stability and safety in their homes. We work collaboratively to develop, implement, and enforce behavioral reinforcement methods, self-care practices, and safety plans. Each family is unique, so our Parenting Support embraces the need for individualized, dynamic resources that empower resilience and health. Parenting a child or children with complex needs can be hard, mentally exhausting and frustrating. No one tells us that we have to become a case manager for our own child and parent and still manage to not feel isolated from other so-called typical parents. My staff know their resources and happy to help families contact request, prepare or plan for changes.

Parent support can be requested by the individual themselves, schools, agencies, or anyone that sees a parent or caregiver struggling. We are not here to judge we are here to help and get issues resolved so the parent or caregiver can get back to a sense or normal. Parent support can be done face to face or online. Creative Potential, and our team want to see you and your family having fun and getting the service or things you or your loved one needs to live life to the fullest.
